Lionel Akagah

Lionel Akagah, CISSP is a Canadian cybersecurity professional who holds a Master’s Degree in Information Technology (IT) which included a minor in cybersecurity. Bilingual in English and French, Lionel has an international career with over 10 years of experience in the field, working primarily with consulting firms such as PwC, MNP and Wavestone, collaborating with top companies across countries such as France, Canada, the U.K and the U.S. to name a few. He holds a CISSP certification and currently serves as the inaugural Director of Cybersecurity for a Crown Corporation.Lionel is passionate about cyber awareness and cyber literacy, dedicated to educating and empowering individuals in a fast-paced, global, and constantly changing world. He is an active member and volunteer of the ISC2 Toronto chapter.In addition to his professional pursuits, Lionel is a mental health advocate and firmly believes in the power of mentorship to help the next generations know better and hopefully do better.
